Advanced Nurse Practitioner – High Wycombe – £400 p/d Freelance

Job Summary

We’re looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for a 3 -month fixed-term contract, with the view to extend if it’s the right fit, starting in January. The successful candidate will join a supportive GP practice and manage Minor Illness clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Minor Illness consultations
• 6 sessions per week
• 16 patients per session
• 15 minute appointments
• No home visits
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care

Requirements:

• NMC registration
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Master’s level or equivalent)
• Independent Prescribing preferred
• Strong primary care and minor illness experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise and build rapport with diverse patient populations
• Proven experience in patient care with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
• This is an on-site, in-person role based in Buckinghamshire
