Locum Assignment Terms

Please read these terms carefully. They apply to all locum bookings with Medic Staff Ltd. By accepting a booking, attending a shift, or otherwise acting on a confirmation, you agree to these terms.

Bookings are not guaranteed work. The shifts we confirm are scheduled locum assignments, not a guarantee of work or hours. We do not guarantee that any or all confirmed shifts will go ahead.

Assignments are flexible and may change. Any assignment may be cancelled, reduced, postponed, or amended by the client or by Medic Staff Ltd at any time and without notice. Neither the client nor Medic Staff Ltd will be liable for any loss of earnings, expenses, or other losses arising from a cancelled, reduced, or amended assignment.

Payment is for work actually done. You will be paid only for shifts you have worked and evidenced by an authorised timesheet, at the agreed rate. No payment is due for shifts that do not go ahead, for any reason.

You are self-employed. Locum assignments are undertaken on a self-employed basis. A booking does not create employment, a worker relationship, or any mutuality of obligation. You are free to accept or decline assignments, and a client is equally free to end one.

No ongoing obligation. Nothing obliges Medic Staff Ltd to offer further work, or obliges you to accept it.
