Locum Pharmacist Temporary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Locum Pharmacist to support a friendly and forward-thinking GP practice in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to high-quality patient care while enjoying a flexible temporary locum arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Structured Medication Reviews and Medication Reviews
• Manage repeat prescriptions and medicine queries
• Support QOF delivery, particularly in chronic disease management
• Provide input for GP Specialist work, particularly around Cardiovascular Disease
• Process and act on hospital discharge letters
• Address polypharmacy cases and optimise treatment plans
• Manage clinical tasks assigned by GPs and other clinicians

Requirements

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• MUST HAVE experience in primary care or GP surgery setting
• MUST HAVE EMIS proficiency
• Independent Prescriber qualification preferred but not essential
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and organisational skills
